Who are Red Rose Chapter?

Red Rose Chapter #7772 is an affiliated Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), a business unit of Harley-Davidson Motor Company.  H.O.G. is the chartering body for all affiliated Chapters and provides a Chapter Charter, which governs the relationship between Red Rose Chapter and H.O.G.  Our website address is: https://redrosechapter.com.

The Chapter has a management Committee made up of members from the Chapter and takes its responsibility for the Protection of your personal data seriously.  This privacy statement tells you what to expect when we collect personal information about you.

What data will we hold on you?

We only collect personal information from you when you apply for membership.  If we do not collect this personal information, we cannot service your membership.  Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address and mobile number.  We maintain a record of this information to fulfil the requirements of the Chapter Charter.

How does Red Rose Chapter use my information?

We may use your personal information in the following ways:

• To authenticate your membership of H.O.G.

• To process and fulfil your membership application of Red Rose Chapter

• To communicate with you and send you information by email or text message about rides or events

• To respond to your requests

• We may also hold data about the rides you have attended on ride-out sheets or by photograph.

If you wish to be included for the Chapter Ride 365 each year, we will also record the mileage you have achieved for each Harley-Davidson bike you own.  Should you partake in one of the Chapter away weekends or rallies, then the lead rider or organiser may hold details of your bookings.

How will we keep your data?

Member data on membermojo.co.uk is stored on servers in a modern, secure, purpose-built data centre in the UK; the hosting company is ISO27001 certified.  All personal data is encrypted and protected by two factor authentication.  All changes are mirrored across backup servers in real time and hourly encrypted system backups are sent to a second secure data centre, also in the UK.

How long will we keep your data?

​

Your data will be retained for the duration of your Chapter Membership.  Data will be deleted from Membermojo 3 months after expiry or termination of your membership.

Our Promise to you

Your data will only be kept on our records for the purposes of Chapter related activities and also sending you your annual subscription reminder.

How will we keep your details up to date?

​

We will as far as reasonably practical endeavour to keep up to date with your data.  We do however rely on you to advise us if your details change.  You will have the opportunity to update your details at the annual renewal date or at any time throughout the year by using your Membermojo login or by contacting one of the Chapter Officers.

Does Red Rose Chapter share my information?

The Chapter Charter states that we provide a copy of our membership database to our Sponsoring Dealer, West Coast Harley-Davidson.

Red Rose Chapter does not share, sell, pass on or distribute any member personal information with anyone else.

How do I make choices about receiving communications?

​​

The Chapter Charter stipulates that we communicate with you but you can elect not to receive these.  At the time you complete your membership application form, you agree to receive communications from us.  If, after completing the membership application form, you decide not to receive these communications, please unsubscribe or contact a Chapter officer.

Membermojo will include an unsubscribe link on all email communications.

How do I know my personal information is secure?

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your personal information through our website. We employ user authentication procedures and other preventative technologies designed to keep your data secure and protected. This applies to our accounts with TryBooking and PayPal.  Access to your personal information is limited to certain Primary and Discretionary Chapter officers to perform their job functions.

What about links to other websites?

Red Rose Chapter is not responsible for the content of any linked websites.

This Privacy Policy does not include any social media accounts that we use, or you have access to. It relates only to our website and your membership application.

How do you update me about changes to the Red Rose Chapter Privacy Policy?

As conditions or circumstances change, we may update our Privacy Policy to reflect them.  We will post the revised Privacy Policy on our website at the appropriate time.
